2011 Miss Georgia Mountain Fair,
Jessie Carballo - Murphy, NC

Congratulations to Jessie Carballo of  Murphy, NC crowned the 2011 Miss Georgia Mountain Fair.  Throughout the year Jessie will serve as an ambassador for the Georgia Mountain Fair during select events, including the 2012 Fairest of the Fair Pageant held in Atlanta, Ga.

Jessie is a 2011 graduate of Hiwassee Dam High School. She will attend Young Harris College in the fall studying Pre-law and Political Science with future plans to become a criminal attorney. Jessie is involved in many volunteer activities including the Humane Society, Red Cross, and REACH. Jessie's hobbies include designing and decorating cakes, cooking, reading, yoga, and traveling.

Jessie is the daughter of Mario & Patricia Carballo. She received $200 for the competition as well as a beautiful necklace from "The Loft" in Hiawassee, Ga.
