2007 Hiawassee Festival of Arts
August 25-26
During summer, the small mountain community of Hiawassee enjoys a much cooler climate than typical humid Georgia weather, but each August the area will become a hotspot of culture. Visitors flock to the historic Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for the two-day outdoor, juried Hiawassee Festival of Arts, presented by the non-profit Mountain Arts Association. The annual event features a combination of fine art and fine crafts, live jazz performances and educational activities.
Admission: $5 (free parking)
